California Dreamin’
10 AprOOTD : Pink Coat And #Signoflove
8 FebYesterday was my friends’ joint birthday party and Beth and I spent most of the day helping them prepare for it. For Beth, this meant blowing up so many balloons that we feared aneurism. For me, this meant joyfully ripping up my old magazines and creating this wall piece. I love doing stuff like this. I’m destroying to create; taking all of my internal inspiration and throwing it out onto the wall like an interior design mind map. I’m going to be doing it in my room shortly, and I’ll post pictures if people express interest!
What does one wear to party plan? The real question was: what does one choose to look like when one party plans, and as you can probably tell, I chose a marshmallow.

Outside Sofa c/o Jon and Matt’s ‘genius’ smoking area idea.
P.S.
I hope you know about the abomination that is Russia’s new bill. It states that those members of the LGBT community are banned from showing their love for each other in public. This is partly due to the current Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and Russia’s bizarre desire to keep ‘nontraditional sexual relations’ hidden, though anti-gay propaganda is still rife in the country anyway, with many violent crimes taking place against the LGBT community.
Lush are fronting a campaign in which a photographic petition consisting of people wearing the pink triangle (the sign of love) on their person is sent to the Russian Embassy on Valentine’s Day next week. Below is mine and Beth’s contribution. Think of it as a bit of a ‘fuck you’ to Vladimir Putin.
