Ethos

dplt

Inspiration for my blog name came from Gisèle Scanlon’s lovely book ‘The Goddess Experience’ which I read when I was around sixteen years old and desperately looking for someone I was going to grow to become.  One woman she described immediately became the one I wanted to emulate:

“A dirty, pretty little thing, she’s faultless from her hair to her toenails. Even when casual she looks groomed. Secretly, she’s an expert with beauty products and lingerie. She’ll often show a little quirky detail (a low cut t-shirt or a bra strap poking from beneath her dress)… She favours subtle allure over overt sexuality and she’s an expert at layering sensual scent.”

Just as that paragraph fired my high school self, I in turn want to fire you all. This blog is about throwing caution to the wind and actually going out and getting all of those things you want, and becoming all of those things you want to be. You know that woman that is unforgivingly herself, glamorous, damn cool and lovely all at once? Don’t be envious of her – be her.
